I create Life Care Plans (formerly known as Future Costs of Care Reports) for individuals who have current and future health care needs due to their chronic disability. As an Occupational Therapist, my primary objective is to enable individuals’ engagement in those roles and activities that bring meaning to their lives. An individualized, methodologically rigorous, and defensible Life Care Plan can facilitate meaningful engagement for individuals living with chronic health conditions while also serving to resolve legal and insurance matters.
I welcome the opportunity to discuss your needs or those specific to your client.
I have been an Occupational Therapist since 1993. My career has been focussed on providing community-based Occupational Therapy and Life Care Planning where my clients live and work. These services have predominantly occurred in the Ottawa and Eastern Ontario region given that I am also located in Ottawa. I am a strong proponent of lifelong learning as demonstrated by my doctoral degree and postdoctoral research training. I combine my clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist with my advanced research and analytic skills to address each client’s individual Life Care Planning needs.
