Peer reviewed through the lens of accepted life care planning methodology

A peer review involves analyzing another professional’s life care plan for alignment with accepted life care planning methodology.

Life care plans are peer reviewed through the lens of accepted life care planning methodology, grounded in authoritative guiding documents including (but not limited to):

  • Consensus and majority statements
  • Standards of Practice
  • Textbooks, handbooks and peer-reviewed journals
  • White papers

Guidance in the performance of peer reviews can be found within the life care planning literature.

While peer reviews are most often requested as paper reviews, this can also be customized to include an in-person evaluation. With appropriate consent, subsequent collaborations with physicians and treatment providers may enhance the review.
